The Sovereign Tech Fund's mission is to strengthen the foundations of our self-determined digital activity. The goal is to promote security, innovation and competitiveness, and to create a stable digital foundation for participation and democracy. To this end, we invest in the open source ecosystem with a focus on resilience and technological diversity and the goal of achieving digital sovereignty and a sustainable digital public service. As a 'start-up' in the Federal Agency for Leap Innovations, we launched in September 2022 with funding from the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection and are now looking for reinforcements to build the Sovereign Tech Fund.
